Using Lucent
Find your way around Lucent's windows and tools.
Most of Lucent lives in what we call a game window. Open one from File > New Game Window, or launch saved accounts through the Account Manager.
Game window
The game window puts Lucent’s controls above AQW.
- Windows opens the companion tools connected to this client.
- Scripts manages and runs scripts and packages.
- Options contains client settings.
- The other buttons cover Auto Zone, Auto Relogin, Auto Attack, travel, and the bank.
Most controls become available once your character is logged in and ready.
Game tabs and group controls
Group actions target every tab by default. Command-click a tab on macOS, or Control-click it on Windows and Linux, to add or remove it from the group.
How settings are shared
Each account in Lucent’s Account Manager keeps its own AQW settings. Clients opened outside the Account Manager share one set. When two clients would use the same settings at once, Lucent gives the second one a temporary copy. Changes to that copy aren’t saved. Tabs and separate windows work the same way.
Companion tools
Companion tools open from Windows in the game window. Most belong to the client that opened them; Combat Profiles is shared across the app.
- Combat Profiles defines combat behavior for scripts, Auto Attack, and Follower.
- Environment manages drops, quests, and boosts.
- Follower follows another player and helps them in combat.
- Loader/Grabber loads game content or grabs useful game data.
- Packets captures, inspects, and sends game packets.
Account Manager
Add your accounts, give them labels, and save common selections as groups. In Launch, choose the accounts, login server, and optional script, then launch them together.
Sessions lists every open client with its login status and current script.
Settings
Open Settings from the application menu to change app behavior, hotkeys, or appearance.
